JUDGE SILVER HAS MADE HISTORY IN NEVADA:
Judge Silver is the only judge in the history of Nevada to have presided at EVERY level of Nevada's court system
Judge Silver was appointed by our Nevada's Governor and the Nevada Judicial Selection Commission to the Inaugural Court of Appeals of Nevada in 2015 (over 38 applicants applied throughout the state including other judges and attorneys).
Judge Silver is the first women to be appointed to the Nevada Court of Appeals
District Court Judge-elected by the citizens in 2009 and 2014
Justice Court Judge-elected by the citizens in 2007
Municipal Court Judge-elected by the citizens in 2003
Chief of the Special Victim's Unit of the Clark County District Attorney's Office-appointed by the District Attorney, 1998-2003; Chief Deputy within SVU from 1994-1998. (She dedicated her prosecutorial career to helping victims of crimes and putting criminals behind bars; wrote the laws on Aggravated Stalking and Violation of Protective Orders against Domestic Violence to help keep victims of crime safe while punishing violent offenders)
Deputy District Attorney-appointed by the District Attorney, 1990-1994.
